it's hard to believe that atticus is already 6 months old. he's growing up so fast.
soon he'll be walking... going off to college... getting married. (sigh...)

to iraq and back.

we just got back from a two week trip to the middle east. it was atti's first trip to iraq and our second. we wanted to show atti where his mom and dad met and introduce him to his Kurdish family.

here we are at the new Sulei airport. after taking this picture we were politely told that we weren't allowed to take pictures. us, tourists....

we celebrated Naw Roz, the Kurdish New Year, together with my host family.
